Approximately 55 Australians suffer sudden cardiac arrest every day. Without a nearby AED, the chance of survival may be less than 10%.
HOWEVER, if there’s an AED within a 180 second round trip to retrieve the device and return to the victim, the survival rate may increase to over 70%!
