WHO WE ARE
Indigenous-owned. Paramedic-led. Backing businesses meeting AED compliance obligations every day
Compliance is not a tick-box exercise to us. Integrity Health & Safety was founded by Liam Harte and Brad Goodwin, two intensive care paramedics who served with the Australian Defence Force here and overseas, so when we talk about aed compliance, we know exactly what makes the difference between a device that ticks the form and a device that saves a life. We're Indigenous-owned, Supply Nation accredited, members of the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance, and appointed to the SA Whole of Government Defibrillator Panel, and we work with WHS teams across Australia to make compliance practical, not painful.
Compliance isn't bureaucracy—it's assurance. When you invest in AED compliance, you're ensuring a Publicly Accessible Defibrillator (PAD) stays rescue-ready for everyday people in everyday emergencies. Your workplace becomes safer. Your employees gain real protection. When you invest with us, you're also supporting our Social Impact Commitment, which funds First Aid, CPR, immunisation and leadership scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses.
Our aed compliance support combines paramedic expertise with practical audits. We assess your current setup honestly, identify gaps, and deliver maintenance schedules tailored to your operational reality—not generic templates.
Compliant AEDs We Recommend
Among AEDs we recommend to businesses meeting AED compliance obligations, these two are strong options. The HeartHero Elliot meets compliance through 6-year warranty and continuous self-testing with app visibility. The ZOLL AED 3 exceeds compliance via WiFi-connected PlusTrac program management system that eliminates manual inspections.
HeartHero Elliot Fully Automatic Defibrillator
$1,395.00
For meeting AED compliance obligations, Elliot's automated self-testing and six-year warranty simplify administration. The lightest fully automatic AED operates across -20°C to 50°C temperature ranges. Step-by-step voice guidance and one-button operation mean minimal training overhead. Bluetooth and LTE connectivity enable real-time readiness monitoring from anywhere.
Compliance becomes simple with the ZOLL AED 3. Real-time CPR feedback ensures rescuers deliver effective compressions while the device automates shock delivery. Wi-Fi program management eliminates manual maintenance inspections—the system tracks everything. Your seven-year warranty provides long-term confidence in your compliance investment.
Australia records roughly 25,000 sudden cardiac arrests outside hospitals yearly. Survival decreases by approximately ten per cent for each minute without defibrillation. Workplace AED compliance transcends legal boxes—it's about ensuring your team goes home safely, transforming regulatory requirements into genuine protection.
An AED compliance from Integrity Health & Safety gives you:
Mandatory compliance met
Speed in the moment that matters. An AED compliance-aware workplace can act in seconds, not minutes, because everyone knows where the AED is.
Calm in a crisis
No clinical background, no problem. Audio guidance and CPR prompts coach any willing bystander through the response.
Peace of mind at home
The majority of cardiac arrests happen at home. For businesses meeting AED compliance obligations, knowing an AED compliance is within reach is a quiet kind of confidence.
AED Compliance Support
From 1 January 2026, defibrillators are mandated for the South Australian private sector. For businesses meeting AED compliance obligations, the aed compliance decision becomes a compliance answer too.
Competitive Pricing
Roving teams, vehicles, sporting events, building sites, boats and caravans rely on an AED compliance that can move with the work.
How to choose an AED compliance setup that actually works
An AED compliance setup that actually works depends on your sites, your shift patterns, and the layout of your buildings.
For take-anywhere protection with an AED compliance: the HeartHero Elliot. Smallest, lightest, most weather-resistant.
For shared-space aed compliance use: the ZOLL AED 3. Coaches the rescuer through CPR while the device handles the rest.
For organisations needing an AED compliance at multiple locations: combine both, with central readiness reporting.
Want an honest second opinion on your aed compliance? Our team includes intensive care paramedics. We'll review your current setup and recommend a path forward at no cost.
In line with our commitments towards Indigenous enterprise engagement we selected Integrity Health & Safety to supply our defibrillators. Their professional advice, fast service and competitive pricing made the decision easy. The portable units have been rolled out across our sites without a single issue.

Common aed compliance questions
Do untrained members of the public need qualifications to use an AED?
How much does an AED compliance cost in Australia?
Is it legal to own an AED compliance in Australia?
Where should an AED compliance be kept?
What kind of warranty does an AED compliance come with?
No. AEDs are specifically designed for untrained members of the public to use in cardiac emergencies. The device provides clear voice prompts and automatically analyses the heart rhythm, only delivering a shock when needed. We recommend our free 10-minute online defibrillator training to build confidence and maximise survival chances.
On the aed compliance side of the catalogue: pricing usually falls between $1,400 to $3,000, depending on brand, features and warranty. The HeartHero Elliot is currently $1,395, and the ZOLL AED 3 Fully Automatic is $2,895 with free shipping. Bulk pricing is available for businesses purchasing multiple units. Talk to our team for a tailored quote.
For an AED compliance: defibrillators are not yet legally mandated for most Australian workplaces, but the situation is shifting. Starting 1 January 2026, defibrillators are mandatory for South Australian private-sector businesses. Even where not legally required, the WHS Act expects employers to do what is reasonably practicable to manage risk, and for cardiac arrest a $1,400 device is a very reasonable expectation.
An AED compliance should be kept somewhere visible, easy to reach, and away from extreme temperatures or moisture. Popular placements include reception desks, kitchens, vehicles, gym bags, club rooms and home hallways. Devices like the HeartHero Elliot (IP66 rated) can also live in less protected spots such as boats, utes and tradie work vans.
An AED compliance bought from Integrity Health & Safety comes with a manufacturer warranty between six and seven years, depending on the model. On top of that, we offer free pre-purchase advice, free audits of any existing kit, optional training and ongoing support. And because the team is paramedic-led, you get advice from people who have actually used these devices in rescues.
