Elliot Defibrillator We Recommend
The Elliot defibrillator uses a biphasic truncated exponential waveform - the same technology used in hospital-grade equipment. A six-year warranty and daily automated self-tests mean it is always ready.
HeartHero Elliot Defibrillator
$1,395.00
The Elliot defibrillator uses a biphasic truncated exponential waveform, automatically adjusting phase duration to match patient impedance. It delivers 150 joules for adults and switches to 50 joules in paediatric mode with one button press. Daily self-tests confirm readiness. Six-year warranty.
Around 25,000 Australians experience cardiac arrest outside hospital every year. Survival falls by roughly ten per cent for every minute without defibrillation. The Elliot defibrillator's single-pull activation and voice-guided prompts are designed to get a shock delivered in the shortest possible time.
An Elliot defibrillator from Integrity Health & Safety gives you:
Precision when it matters
The Elliot delivers a 150-joule biphasic truncated exponential shock for adults, automatically scaling to 50 joules in paediatric mode. Its analysis algorithm exceeds AHA-required sensitivity thresholds for shockable rhythms.
Adult and paediatric coverage from one device
A single button press before placing the pads switches the Elliot from 150-joule adult mode to 50-joule paediatric mode, adjusting both energy output and voice prompts. One device covers all patients in your care.
Six-year warranty, low maintenance
The Elliot carries a 6-year manufacturer warranty. Daily self-tests and monthly functional checks are automated. Pads have a 5.5-year shelf life and Duracell CR123 batteries last three years in standby - minimal intervention required.
Compliance support
From 1 January 2026, South Australian private sector workplaces are required to have a defibrillator on site. The Elliot meets the requirement and comes with automated self-testing to support ongoing compliance documentation.
Competitive Pricing
The Elliot defibrillator costs $1,395 with free shipping and a 6-year warranty. Electrode pads are pre-installed and have a 5.5-year shelf life. Duracell CR123 batteries last three years. Ongoing costs are predictable and low.
How to choose the right portable defibrillator
The Elliot defibrillator is the right choice where portability, low maintenance and a long warranty are the priorities.
For take-anywhere defibrillation with a biphasic waveform and a 6-year warranty: the HeartHero Elliot defibrillator.
The Elliot defibrillator performs a daily self-check of battery and pad status, and a full functional test every month. If anything needs attention, the HeartHero App sends a push notification before it becomes a problem.
The Elliot defibrillator supports both adult and paediatric patients from the same set of pads. A single button press before pad placement switches from 150-joule adult mode to 50-joule paediatric mode.
Not sure which defibrillator suits your site? Our team includes intensive care paramedics. We will audit your existing equipment and recommend the right Elliot configuration at no cost.

Frequently asked questions
What type of shock waveform does the Elliot defibrillator use?
How does the Elliot defibrillator switch between adult and paediatric mode?
What happens if the Elliot defibrillator detects a non-shockable rhythm?
How does the Elliot defibrillator alert users when maintenance is needed?
What is the Elliot defibrillator's warranty and what does it cover?
The Elliot uses a biphasic truncated exponential waveform, automatically adjusting the phase duration based on the patient's body resistance. It delivers 150 joules for adult patients and reduces to 50 joules in paediatric mode. This waveform type meets and exceeds AHA sensitivity requirements for shockable rhythm detection.
Press the child button on the Elliot's front panel before placing the pads on the patient. This switches the device from 150-joule adult mode to 50-joule paediatric mode and adjusts the voice prompts accordingly. The button must be pressed before the pads are applied - once pads are on the patient, the mode cannot be changed.
If the Elliot analyses the heart rhythm and determines a shock is not appropriate - for example, if the patient has a non-shockable rhythm or has regained circulation - it instructs the rescuer to check for signs of life and continue CPR. It will reanalyse after each CPR cycle. The device will not deliver an unnecessary shock.
The Elliot performs an automated daily self-check of battery and pad status and a full functional test every month. If any issue is detected, the device activates a visual caution indicator and the HeartHero App sends a push notification. You can also press the info button on the device at any time to get a status update.
The Elliot carries a 6-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Alongside the warranty, Integrity Health & Safety provides free familiarisation training, ongoing paramedic-led support and free site audits. The device's automated self-testing and HeartHero App monitoring help ensure the warranty period is trouble-free.
