WHO WE ARE

Indigenous-owned, paramedic-led, trusted nationwide

Integrity Health & Safety is an Indigenous-owned business founded by intensive care paramedics Liam Harte and Brad Goodwin, both veterans of the Australian Defence Force. We are an authorised HeartSine distributor, Supply Nation certified, and members of the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance.
The HeartSine Samaritan 500P is a Publicly Accessible Defibrillator (PAD) - designed for use by any bystander, regardless of training. Its integrated CPR Advisor goes further than most PADs by providing live compression feedback without any additional hardware. Every purchase supports our Social Impact Commitment: scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses.
We hold Supply Nation certification and are members of the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance. Our appointment to South Australia's Whole of Government Defibrillator Panel reflects the depth of trust placed in our clinical expertise. We provide free site audits and paramedic-led advice with every purchase.

The HeartSine Samaritan 500P

The HeartSine Samaritan 500P addresses two links in the chain of survival simultaneously: delivering a shock and coaching the rescuer through effective CPR. Its integrated CPR Advisor uses impedance cardiography through the defibrillator electrodes to measure actual compression depth and rate in real time. No additional sensor is needed. The Pad-Pak consumable simplifies ownership: one cartridge, one expiry date, one maintenance change every four years.

Why semi-automatic shock delivery matters on the HeartSine 500P

Around 25,000 Australians experience a sudden cardiac arrest outside hospital every year. Survival falls by roughly ten per cent for every minute without defibrillation. CPR quality during those minutes also matters: poor compressions fail to sustain circulation between shocks. The SAM 500P addresses both - delivering a shock and coaching the rescuer to maintain effective CPR simultaneously.

A HeartSine Samaritan 500P from Integrity Health & Safety gives you:

CPR feedback without extra hardware

The SAM 500P's CPR Advisor uses impedance cardiography through the defibrillator electrodes to measure actual compression depth and rate - not just pace. It gives specific feedback: push harder, push faster, or confirming good compressions. No accelerometer, no chest puck, no additional hardware required. This is built in as standard.

One cartridge, one expiry date

The Pad-Pak integrates battery and electrode cartridge into a single unit with one expiry date - replaced every four years as a single maintenance action. No separate battery and pad replacement schedules. No risk of a battery being replaced while expired pads remain, or vice versa. Lower administrative overhead for facilities managers tracking multiple devices.

Compact and rugged for any environment

The SAM 500P measures 20 cm x 18.4 cm x 4.8 cm with an IP56 enclosure rating and MIL-STD-810F shock and vibration compliance. It operates from 0 to 50 degrees C. Its footprint is up to 56 per cent smaller than comparable AEDs, making it adaptable to wall mounting, desk placement or vehicle storage. Suitable for offices, schools, sporting clubs and community facilities.

Compliance support

From 1 January 2026, South Australian private sector workplaces must have a defibrillator. The HeartSine Samaritan 500P is TGA listed and meets the legislative requirement. Its Pad-Pak simplifies ongoing compliance documentation: one four-year expiry date covers both battery and electrodes. We can assist with placement assessment, maintenance records and staff familiarisation.

Competitive Pricing

The HeartSine Samaritan 500P is $2,065 with free shipping. The integrated Pad-Pak means one maintenance change every four years covers both battery and electrodes - no separate replacement schedules. If the $580 price difference matters and CPR Advisor coaching is not the priority, the Samaritan 360P at $1,485 delivers the same Pad-Pak simplicity and SCOPE biphasic waveform in a fully automatic device. Free familiarisation training and ongoing paramedic-led support are included with both.

Is the HeartSine Samaritan 500P right for your site?

The SAM 500P is the right choice where CPR quality feedback matters alongside shock delivery - fixed locations like offices, schools, sporting clubs and factories where someone will actively use the Advisor during a resuscitation. If CPR feedback is less of a priority and you prefer a fully automatic device that delivers a shock without any button press, the HeartSine Samaritan 360P is also available at $1,485 - a saving of $580. It shares the same Pad-Pak, IP56 rating and SCOPE biphasic waveform, without the CPR Advisor technology. Speak to our team to compare both.
For offices, schools, sporting clubs and fixed community locations where CPR feedback quality matters: the HeartSine Samaritan 500P. Integrated CPR Advisor, IP56, 1.1 kg, four-year Pad-Pak.
If budget is a consideration, the HeartSine Samaritan 360P is also available at $1,485. It is fully automatic, weighs the same 1.1 kg, carries the same IP56 rating and uses the same four-year Pad-Pak. The difference is the absence of the CPR Advisor - voice prompts guide CPR pace, but there is no real-time compression depth and rate measurement. For sites where active CPR coaching is the priority, the 500P at $2,065 is the stronger choice. For sites where full automation and a lower price matter more, the 360P is worth considering.
The SAM 500P covers both adult and paediatric patients. The standard Pad-Pak is for adults; the Paediatric-Pak covers children from one to eight years of age or up to 25 kg. Both are available through Integrity Health & Safety. Speak to our team about stocking both for a school, sports club or family setting.
Our team includes intensive care paramedics who have assessed hundreds of sites across Australia. Call 1300 720 024 or submit an enquiry and we will tell you exactly what we recommend for your location - and why.

Frequently asked questions

How does the HeartSine Samaritan 500P's CPR Advisor work?

Can the HeartSine Samaritan 500P be used on children?

How often does the HeartSine Samaritan 500P need maintenance?

Is the HeartSine Samaritan 500P semi-automatic or fully automatic?

What support does Integrity Health & Safety provide with the HeartSine Samaritan 500P?

The CPR Advisor uses impedance cardiography - measuring tiny changes in electrical resistance through the defibrillator electrodes as the chest is compressed. It calculates compression depth and rate from those changes and provides real-time feedback: push harder, push faster, or confirming good compressions. No accelerometer, chest puck or additional attachment is required. The technology is built into the standard electrode circuit.
Yes. The SAM 500P has a dedicated Paediatric-Pak for patients between one and eight years of age, or up to 25 kg. The Paediatric-Pak replaces the standard Pad-Pak and adjusts both energy delivery (50 joules per shock) and electrode placement guidance for a child patient. Note that CPR Advisor is deactivated when the Paediatric-Pak is in use.
The main maintenance action is replacing the Pad-Pak every four years. Because the Pad-Pak integrates battery and electrodes into one cartridge with a single expiry date, there is no separate battery replacement schedule. One maintenance change every four years covers both consumables. The device performs daily self-checks and reports status automatically. Our team provides free maintenance reminders with every purchase.
The HeartSine Samaritan 500P is semi-automatic. It analyses the heart rhythm, advises a shock when appropriate, and the rescuer presses the shock button to deliver it. This gives trained rescuers an active role in the decision. The CPR Advisor operates throughout - providing compression feedback during CPR cycles between analyses.
Every HeartSine Samaritan 500P purchase includes free shipping, free familiarisation training for your team, free site audits and ongoing paramedic-led support. We are an authorised HeartSine distributor and can advise on Pad-Pak replacement schedules, placement and compliance documentation. Our team is available after the sale, not just before it.
